Villa Cetinale Directions
FROM SIENA OVEST, Porta San Marco, follow the ss73 towards SOVICILLE. Go through COSTALPINO, COSTAFABBRI and on to VOLTE BASSE. Immediately after the tiny village of VOLTE BASSE, turn right towards SOVICILLE. Follow a long, straight road and just over the bridge at the end, turn right following signs to ANCAIANO and PALAZZONE. The road winds for 3 – 4 kilometres until it ends in a junction. Turn right at the junction. Follow the road around a sharp bend and just before the sign marking the village of ANCAIANO, turn right along a dirt track, signposted CETINALE and CELSA.
To Casa Vin Santo — Follow the dirt track for 300 metres until it reaches the iron gates on the left marking the entrance of CASA VIN SANTO.
To La Cerbaia — Pass through the ‘village’, leaving IL PERO di CETINALE on the right. As the road goes uphill, leave the gates of VILLA CETINALE to the left, follow the road around a tight bend and into the trees where the road forks. Take the left fork, signposted ‘CERBAIA’. The house is at the end of this road.
